Welcome to the Voter Engagement Network E-Store. This is where you will place an order for letters and postcards to distribute to your network. (300 card minimum.) Our printer typically fulfills and ships orders within two business days.  You can pay additional to have the printer ship these to you or pick up orders at the printer in Framingham.   If you would like to try to arrange a closer pick-up point than Framingham, please contact the host team and they can see if this can be arranged.

Activate Parents – Register AZ Youth

Climate change, gun safety, racial justice, bodily autonomy, and economic opportunity are the top issues on young voters’ minds. But until they are registered, young people can’t turn out and use their voices at the ballot box. Help strengthen our democracy by ensuring Arizona’s youngest voters have their say in 2024 and beyond.

Despite the trope about youth apathy, the fact is that barriers to registration are the #1 obstacle to youth voter turnout. Based on US Census data, in every presidential election going back to 2004, some 75% of young people who are registered to vote do turn out to vote. But approximately 4 million Americans turn 18 each year, and as of the 2022 midterms, only about 30% of them were registered to vote. The rate is likely lower today.

We will be mailing to adults with 17- 18-year-olds in their households, and asking them to  help get the eligible teens registered to vote.

This project is partnering with The Civics Center: a trusted national leader in registering young voters.

Voter Engagement Network materials are meant to be easy for volunteers to process: they only require a short, handwritten message in a letter, inserting a scorecard, and stamping, and addressing an envelope.

Mail May 15 and June 15

Please instruct your volunteers to mail their letters between May 15 and June 15. They can mail at a location convenient to them.

Time to Vote in VA-02 (Again!)

Despite recent laws that make it easier to vote in Virginia, voting in every election can be a challenge in Virginia, where major elections are held every year, instead of every other year, as in most states. Virginia CD-02 is a hotly-contested Congressional District held by Democrat Elaine Luria for two terms before she was unseated in 2022 by Republican Jen Kiggans.

The votes of BIPOC/community of color voters will be critical to protecting democracy in the 2024 elections. Primary voting promotes consistent voting habits, and greatly increases the likelihood of voting in the fall. We are writing to alert 51,000 registered community of color voters in VA Congressional District 2 to vote in the June 18 primary. Our postcards inform voters of where and when to vote, and of the key issues at stake (voting rights, reproductive rights, Medicare and Social Security.) Mail postcards any time between April 26th and June 3rd

Our partner is the Center for Common Ground – a non-partisan, Black and women-led voting rights organization founded in 2018. The Center for Common Ground has been active in Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District (the Virginia Beach area) for many years. CfCG works in states where more than 20% of voters are people of color – Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. Its goal is to ensure every voter knows their voice and their votes matter.

Swing Blue materials are meant to be easy for volunteers to process: they only require a handwritten message and placement of a voting information label and an address label and stamp on the card.
